Seized By A Certain Hunger
Richard Foreman
Playwright
Since I was a young man, I always had a very clear idea of what I wanted to do in the theater, and I felt that it was different from what I saw other people doing, so I’m not saying I’m right, but I’m seized by a certain hunger to make a certain kind of thing happen in the theater.1 And I don’t see other people make happen what I want, so they may be great, I don’t know, but it’s not what I want.2
