We got this paradox; at one and the same time, we have all this prosperity and all this good feeling et cetera, et cetera. And on the other hand, we have an incredible emptiness in there, just an incredible, deep, profound emptiness.1 Almost everyone is empty of any real knowledge or sensibility, so it’s — and yet on the other hand, we’re so prosperous. We’re doing so well. There really isn’t that much real discontent in our world. My God.
