Western philosophy from the time of the 17th century to today, has always been stuck with this question. How can a good God create a world in which there’s evil? And so many people in the West have left religion because they couldn’t answer it. ((Hiding Behind The Clouds)) Well, this question even appeared as trivial in both Islamic and Hindu philosophical tradition, and nobody, I don’t know of a single person who has left Islam or Hinduism or Buddhism for that matter, because of this question. This is very interesting culturally speaking.
