Yeah, my parents are atheists obviously because of the mixed marriage, but I was — my father was very proud of racially being Jewish, as am I, of the Jewish heritage and culturally. They would never have married each other had they been religious. But yeah, so I grew up with a certain irreverence for accepting dogma and a certain irreverence for being part of one group or another group and therefore, with a mentality or a tendency to want to be individual.
