It’s funny, because when I was going to high school, I always thought kids went to art — that took art classes in high school were sissies, in a way. ((Art School, Learn Techniques, Magic Of Theater, Orkly Kid)) They were sort of — I don’t know how to explain it, but it was not my cup of tea. I was out in auto mechanics and places. But Mrs. Soares, the art teacher, she knew that I was a big proportionalist, where I could take — I had a good proportion and I could draw. So, if it was having like this Sadie Hawkins dance or something at the high school, she would get in touch with me, and I would sketch out her posters for her. I had a big spread of paper, and she’d show me a picture of it, and I could draw it. So, I had been a good proportionalist, and I was — so that was sort of my exposure to art there. But then the rest of it, if you want to do something, you can learn to do it. ((Plasticity Of The Mind))
