As a journalist, I began — I did many interviews. So, of course, the things that were told to me, I kept them. ((Dentist Chair)) All the words that were given to me. So, I used them, I gave them back to the people or to the readers or whatever. And that’s the way I was interested, but I don’t know if it was historical. ((Texas Novel)) I just — I think what I did is write, what people would understand, not write anything that people would think it was very difficult to read. ((History Is A Construct, Viewfinder)) But people are much more interested in what happens. I’ve written novels and short stories, even a novel that could be an autobiography. But people are more interested in what happens to them or what happens to the country than what I have to tell about a story of something. ((Open Like A Canvas))
